Pomodoro Cafe - Gainesville

Food and wine was perfect. If there was anything to change in my control it would have been to lower the lights and turn up the music to create a more romantic atmosphere. Love this place!!!

Great spot on the northwest side of Gainesville. More Italian restaurant than a café, but incredible decoration, indoor and outdoor seats available. High-end menu, but very fair prices. The food was delicious, gluten-free and marked on the menu. Service was excellent, we had incredible time.

Excellent food and fantastic servers. The veil was great, the crab cakes were delicious and the Portobello mushroom berries were excellent. We had a nice bottle of wine and ordered dessert to go. We will definitely come back. The only drawback was the fact that the bus boy did not care about being there or being proud of his job, the servers took the dizziness for him. Apart from that, this is a great restaurant with great food and excellent service.

Very delicious Italian food. I had the mix grill with rock steak, salmon, chicken, shrimp and for my sides I got brocollini and roasted rosemary. Everything was SO DELICIOUS. My friend had Frutti de Mare Seafood Combo with Cedar Key Clams, mussels, scallop and shrimp with spaghetti. The tomato sauce was amazing. The classic imported pasta was so good. We also ordered glasses from Rotweinhaus and Regular Chianti. It wasn't the best, but for the price it was good with the meal. I highly recommend this place and they always have a lot of specials that change from week to week. Your pizza also smells so good from the next table, but we were full, maybe next time.

My sister and I attended a birthday dinner here in April and stayed for lunch again last week. You have a wide selection of lunch specialities. Last time we ordered the seafood special (very good) and the charcoal crust pizza (very delicious). This time I ordered 1/2 steak and cheese sandwich and soup while my sister had the lasagna and grilled vegetables. Once again, we both enjoyed our selection. Every lunch with a drink was between $12 $15 plus tip. They also offer a range of BOGO articles, subs, pizzas, etc. So my sister could pick up dinner to go home with her. We were too full for dessert, but it looked delicious. Our servers were both attentive, pleasant and efficient. NOTE: Your bread is free and delicious!!!!
