Hook Fish & Chicken Fish & Chips Restaurant

My wife wanted to eat from here. I don't like her because her business is bad and dirty. My order was 14.39. I used my card and was charged 17.27. So I called to let them know that they have charged my card, said the guy on the phone, I can come and my money won't get a big deal, but if I got it, he calls another guy. He told me they couldn't overload my card, but I showed him evidence and he told me they didn't come back after they took my money. Bad business and they take people money by burdening them. So if you decide to eat them, I suggest you do not use cash your card. This happened for the second time. I'm not going back.

Today on the way back to Tampa Bay stopped at a neighborhood square. We have a lot of things here, I'll be honest. Chicken, shrimp and catfish are good, scallops are heavy. They make a dry roasted chicken, everything is fried and no option for wet or sown chicken wings in sauce or something. The shrimps were good, old bay could work with you. My scallops were oversalted and my catfish were not seasoned enough. Scallops were actually rubbery as a look, from all the things I got, that was a mistake. Just because everything is fired doesn't mean it's all good. The hot sauce was good with everything, but it was still just a hot sauce. Do not forget to ask for all your sauces and tartaric acid or do not expect it in your pocket. Even if you wanted to know, the frits are actually under reason and I feel as if they were just a kind of there as a filler, so do your own frits. I'm not sure if there are no tables because they don't want us inside or they don't want us to eat there, but we did a quick picture. Hold on to the wings shrimps and I think you'll be good. Wels and other fish will do if you have no other option and/or if you adjust the wort itself and sauce accordingly.

Eating was good... but only a little hard on salt. And no ketchup. Or drinks. But it was after 10:00, so maybe they were in late night mode. Shrimps, crabcakes were great. Oh, great. Scallops, ehhhhh

The food was cooked to order. Very busy place, the chicken should be the highlight of the show.... But it was nothing special. It wasn't good enough to get me back. Prices are very reasonable if you are on a budget.

I have ordered from here 4 times in the past 3 months, food isn't too bad , but EVERY time I ordered, I get 30 shrimp and fries, I ALWAYS add extra tartar sauce and cocktail sauce with some ketchup for fries, I also asked for plastic ware and napkins, BECAUSE I'M EATING ON THE RUN, and need utensils to eat with and napkins to wipe my mouth with , but instead, for the 4th time in 3 months, I get NO tartar, cocktail sauce, NO ketchup and NO utensils or napkins.. I called the restaurant and let them know and the man tells me to drive up to the restaurant and he would give the missing items. If I had transportation I would NOT have paid 18.00 for GrubHub to deliver it..... I DEFINITELY will NOT be ordering anything from here again. Now I have to eat cold shrimp and fries, with no utensils, napkins, tartar sauce or cocktail sauce, ketchup, salt, or napkins. I would have been better off going to Circle K and getting a hotdog, at least I could have gotten a napkin, ketchup.....
