Mon Cafe - Gagra

An explosion of emotions! We dined at this cafe, I wanted to try Abkhaz cuisine. The waiter offered Abkhazian meat and a jigit frying pan. I liked it very much. We decided to go here in the evening. We ordered barbecue, grilled crispy eggplant and a bottle of dry red wine. While we were waiting for the order, suddenly the waiters started dancing to Caucasian music. Soon they were joined by a waitress who served our table. In the end, probably all the employees of the cafe took part in the incendiary colorful dance. An unexpected surprise from the cafe staff just overshadowed the best impressions of delicious food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bad service, you can't wait for a waiter. I ordered soup, I thought it would be delivered quickly, but no. At the same time, the soup is old and was not made for me. The menu indicated that it would be in a pot with a bread crust on top, but there was no bread (in Abkhazia there is deception all around). WiFi doesn't work. You cannot pay by card.

Very slow service, we waited 30 minutes for a bottle of wine, they brought food but no cutlery

August 2022. On the advice of vacationers in the same hotel as us, we purposefully came to this cafe to celebrate our birthday. We are quite modest people and the main thing in choosing a restaurant for us is third-party reviews. I didn’t specifically read it, but it was highly recommended to us. To the point... We ordered pork kebab/for 3, without a knife, no one was able to take a bite, stringy and dry ;vegetable kebab/5;julienne/3, an interesting version of the sauce, it seems to be filled with milk, the feeling of mushrooms with cheese in the broth; cheese plate in the EUROPEAN way there is also an Abkhazian one /3-, 4 small pieces were found among the Abkhazian cheese a hint of Dorblu. The rest of the dishes and alcohol are not worth describing. I didn’t check the receipt my eyesight didn’t allow it , but for three adults two girls and a boy the price tag turned out to be 7k. And after thinking a little, none of us could calculate for that amount I was left with a feeling of being cheated. I also want to note: the music is chanson without options and at such a volume that sitting at the very exit we couldn’t hear each other ! And most importantly! Lack of a toilet! We had to go to a public one about 300 meters from the cafe this is a lot for 20 rubles and this kind... on our visit without paper, without water!!! Tough but the review is not about this place . Overall, I can give 3 to this establishment. Probably it’s not worth hanging out there on a large scale , but it is quite possible to visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
