Caboto 604 - GAETA

This cafe was right downstairs from where we stayed in Gaeta. We went every morning for breakfast and sometimes drinks later in the afternoon. The owners and staff were all so nice. I'm originally from NYC and sometimes I like a cold coffee in the morning in summer. One morning I asked for an iced cappuccino and got exactly what I wanted-even asked how many ice cubes I wanted. The next morning-even before I ordered-the barista just asked-how many cubes-with a big smile. They made a great cappuccino-freddo or tepido-and the brioche were always fresh-even though not made on the premises. It is located on the via Lungomare-which means you have a view of the water-you can see the sea sparkling in the sunlight and watch boats cruise along. No matter what time we went-whoever was there to serve-everybody was very nice.

Great breakfast, nice bar on the seafront. the owners are very friendly and attentive. I drank the best soy cappuccino ever. croissants are delicious, filled with jam at the moment.
