Am Steinbruchsee - Furth im Wald

The restaurant was a recommendation in the guide and since the reviews on the net were very positive, we decided accordingly. We were not disappointed: Day dish was wild goulash very tasty, disintegrated on the tongue! The Semmelknödel were homemade, the service was very, very friendly, the prices more than civilian. Recommended without limitation.

Wonderful for a few days with the children! The rooms are comfortable and clean, parking is sufficient and the hosts are very friendly and warm. The food is really excellent, the kids can walk. In addition to a string and a playground there is a room with air hockey, flipper etc., where the little one is not boring. At the sales machine you can buy fish and wild food so you can feed yourself. Not only a showquarium, but there are also some breeding pools that invite you for a walk. Just recover!!!

Was here in the course of a final trip to lunch. In a beautiful small adjoining room with beautiful wooden ceiling, beautiful table decoration, friendly and bright furnishings. The service is friendly and fleeting. The menu comprehensive, price performance super OK. The food, a turkey carving with ham, cheese and pineapple baked was really good and the part was perfectly rich, with pommes and salad. Two cool beers and an espresso in the end. We were here with 13 people and the round was very happy. After dinner we were still in the shop window with huge fish, also with shop windows in the cellar, as children also have their pleasure. The signs for judgments I would say here are also an optimal starting point for hikes. The Hotel zum Steinbruchsee was beautifully integrated into a winter landscape. All in all, only recommended, has earned five stars with heart.
