The Rose Garden - Funchal

Service tonight was poor. We appeared to be forgotten for all courses. We were not offered wine and gave up. Disappointing tonight as other evenings at the Rose Garden had been very good. Perhaps there was a staff shortage this evening.

Good food and as always excellent service. However, experience was not as good as we had enjoyed in the past because the buffet was no longer available. We considered this as something that made us want to come back to the cliff bay

Excellent restaurant with good ambiance in a beautiful setting with good food and service provided by a friendly and efficient staff. I would recommend it.

The service, food and ambience were all very good. I was disappointed to be charged 11.5 euros when we had all paid for the 55 euros offer and had only had the meals and drinks that come with that deal!!
