Pizzeria Il Mulino - Frosolone

We are back again at this beloved family restaurant in the mountains. Everything is so fresh and home cooked by Mummy Mulino. The service is all led by family members and they have so much charm. White truffles in this season are abundant – at insanely low prices that would put the five leading restaurants of the world to shame. The food is so delicious – don’t miss the fettuccine with white truffles and porcini mushrooms and I have to say the tagliata the sliced steak is amazing and I chose to have that also with white truffles. They have incredible pizzas too – simply everything here is just so profoundly good in such a simple and authentically regional way it’s completely addictive – I’ve been done lots of luxury travel at lots of Michelin starred restaurants but this is truly one of my favourite places in the entire world.

Awesome food ! Very nice ambience , kind people . Must try pizza, cheesecake and pasta . It has a beautiful location . A MUST TRY RESTAURANT FOR SURE !!!

Super-talented Mummy Mulino really does do the cooking in this fabulous Molisano family restaurant. As you sit on the terrace high up looking over the fantastic valley views of an unspoilt Italy of days gone by, eating fresh home-made pasta with freshly grated truffle found in the woods nearby and roasted scamorza, you know that this is the real deal.

Having eaten here this evening with a large group of friends, I can't sing high enough praises for this restaurant in terms of both service and food. If you find yourself in Frosolone you owe it to yourself to eat here!

We had a great time at this Restaurant while in Molise visiting relatives a few years ago. The pizza and pastas were very good . WE will definitely stop back again on our next visit to Frosolone and Molise
