Salang Pass - Fremont

The food is very good, but I think they may have been well closed. We called her a few times without answer. Tonite, we went to dinner and found the restaurant closed on Friday.

As I sit here on my 'near ' floor coushin fat and happy. I 'm in awe as the still digesting tandoori chicken, curry lamb, and glutinous appreciacation of the BYOB policy and $1 corkage fee settles into my blissfully buzzed psyche...I will forever appreciate my modestly priced Mecca of middle eastern delite that nestles nicely in the heart of Fremont. A jewel in the largest afghan community in the nation 'Salang Pass '! Thanks you!

Salang Pass deserves a solid 5 stars from me. It's truly the best dining experience I've had on this continent. I can't express how much I adore the vegetarian dishes and bolani. The food has consistently been exceptional and incredibly tasty. It's a fantastic spot for families and children, where you can enjoy a wonderful meal at great prices. I really wish they would consider opening another location in San Francisco!

Updated January 2019: They do not answer phone calls regarding billing and do not accept orders from Yelp. It would be courteous for them to inform customers when these ordering options are unavailable, especially on weekends. Previous update: Generally decent service and good food.

Always enjoy dining here. The Afghan cuisine is consistently delicious. I've been coming for years, and it never disappoints. Located in Fremont, it's a great spot to satisfy your cravings.
