Guō Jiāng Jūn - Fremont

Everything here is delicious! My favorite dish, however, is their white fish dried pot with white rice. Their tripe and beef cold appetizer is also delicious.

We often drive from Oakland to fremont just to eat here. It is close to a movie theater, so it is best place to out on a date with whome ever you like. Try the whole fish pot and the spicy chicken!!!!

DELICIOUS! It doesn't matter what protein you crave as long as it's creation was made by the chef's at this establishment. Their style of cooking entails a lot flavor and heat which makes you want to eat more of it. If your like me always looking to fulfill your palet with great eats I highly suggest you try this place!!

The smell coming out of this restaurant is hypnotizing! On our way to a neighboring restaurant for lunch, we stopped to check out General Pot's menu that's posted by their entrance trying to figure out what dish was producing that smell and we see that they serve Sichuan style food and specialize in dry pot. I noticed that inside the restaurant it was packed and that's always a good sign, so we immediately went in and were seated right away. We ordered the dry stir green beans to start and these were absolutely delicious. These came out glistening and pretty much every table around us ordered it as well. It's tossed with fried garlic, ground pork, and dried chili peppers which surprisingly was very mild. We also ordered the double-cooked sliced pork with rice. This is one of my favorite dishes as of recently so I was excited to see it on their menu! It was sweeter than I'm used to but overall a great dish.

Super empty when I walked in Tuesday for lunch. Tried their mini sliced lamb dry pot special with the fish gluten (fish balls) with bok choy. Sliced Lamb I started digging at the dry pot so eagerly I forgot to take a photo but I am super pleased! The flavoring is spicy and numbing as expected. I used to frequent a spot in SoCal that tasted like this that was BUSTLING, so I was surprised that it was so empty. Fish gluten with cabbage could have been named better but it 's not bland, super fat fish balls you 're used to.... It was a good complement to the spicy and oily spicy dry pot. Tea was served with the meal and soup was given to me and BF even though we ordered just one spicy pot special. I am gonna try and come here more often. I thought I had to go all the way to SF to get smaller sized dry pot. Which by the way serves 2 comfortably :P
