El Patio Original - Fremont

I have been dining at El Patio for 25 years. Despite changing ownership over the years, the recipes have remained consistent. It continues to be one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants. I cannot recall a dish here that I did not enjoy.

Delicious food bursting with savory flavors that you just can't get enough of. The shrimp is tender and plump, making you feel satisfied after just a couple bites. It pairs perfectly with rice, warm corn tortillas, or even with some crispy chips. The portions are generous, allowing you to enjoy two meals from one serving.

The food was delicious, but the side salad was missing dressing and the churro dessert didn't come with chocolate sauce or whipped cream.

Love this place whether eating in or getting DoorDash! I like to order a la carte items which are a fantastic deal! They have great street tacos(I like the grilled chicken) I especially like them doused with lime juice. Another favorite is a tostada which is on a shell but is filled with so much stuff I usually eat with chips!! Def. For me the portion size of an a la carte tostada is a full meal and a snack later or two meals with chips. Everything is always fresh and prepared very consistently.

I can say confidently this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in fremont, and could defiantly be top 5 of the bay area. There food always taste great, there rice is perfect, mole sauce here is great on everything , and there salsa is so good i frequently order extra salsa to have for a few days thats how great it is
