Have been meaning to review this place for a few weeks! I first read about Miss Chats in business news and had been looking forward to getting down there.Great, knowledgeable and attentive bar staff. The pirate looking guy knows his stuff and how to run a bar. On a fairly busy night pumped out the cocktails, described drinks and made special orders for people depending on their likes. So good to see they're sticking to their ethos and supporting the small guys, including some great beers from freo favourites In8 and new boys South Fremantle Brewing. Great to see them on tap! Was particularly pleased to not see a single james squire beer in the venue. The foods good too. Sits nicely between your typical pub food and something like bread in common, and not a single parmy or steak sanga in sight. So refreshing to see something different, and local in freo with good knowledgeable charasmatic bar staff, great food and drinks! Can't wait to come back!
Came here for a quick lunch and drink before a show at the Town Hall. It has an amazing fit out that sits well with the Freoesc feel. Barman was casual and friendly, and I asked for white wine suggestion with my baby cos lettuce and Serrano ham salad with boiled egg, torn bread, anchovy emulsion and shaved parmesan. He gave me a class of a nice white from Adelaide. Food took a little while to arrive and was nicely plated. Good flavours and fresh and crunchy cos. I would have loved a little more hint of the anchovies as I love them, and the torn bread, I think would have been better if it was toasted. But all in all a good light brekkie in a nice space that plays good music. Will be back to try the butter chicken of which I have heard rave reviews.
Cosy place for a drink with the girls. Aircon wasn't working so well but it was 35 degrees that night! Bar staff very friendly and willing to learn new tricks. Their espresso martini machine ran out ! Which was a blessing in disguise because the handmade ones were so much yummier however the machine ones are heaps cheaper. I was blessed to have great company which made the night for me and the copious amount of cushions on the couch!
Walked past by this place several times and finally today me and my fiancée walked, sat, drank and ate in this wonderful place. It’s cost, staff are cheerful and great. The service was fast as well.Had most of the dishes in the menu and and pleasantly surprised that everything was great. The chicken wing with paprika, coffee and maple syrup was sold out but I am pretty sure I know why.A great place to chill with friends or just going on a date
