Restaurant im Bayerischen Hof

If we always stay at this hotel in Freising...great staff and the restaurant is 5 star restaurants. Last time we were there the restaurant was only opened a few days due to the economy....but the breakfast is still 5 star restaurants and the self-service bar is...easily serviceable. Beautiful hotel.

We talked to this restaurant in Freising the first night. There are 10 of us, 5 couples, and we have toured Salzburg, Hallstatt, Garmisch, Ulm, Murren and Luerne for 12 days. Let me just say that we love to eat.... This restaurant has become our new number one, not only served for the excellent cuisine, but the service, management interaction and pleasant evening in the restaurant made this our favorite place to eat. The Goulash, schnitzel, fish (both Cod and Monk), fillet, steak strips with mushrooms, pork and salads were some of the best meals we had on this wonderful European adventure. Very recommend this restaurant and believe me this group knows good food when they see it.

Here after a few days in Paris and Rome and that was a highlight. Probably expensive, great food and a good wine list. Service was excellent. A really pleasant night with the family.

This hotel restaurant was an unexpected surprised service was flawless, i had the chef's special which was an amazing pork chop... with fresh vegetables and a sauce to die for limited menu but everything looked amazing =would definitely recommend.

I stayed in the Bayerischer Hof Hotel and had dinner here twice, as Freising is really small and the options are limited. The lady who served at the table was really nice and friendly, the ambiance is very cosy and typically Bavarian. The food was...traditional, cooking was OK, but nothing special. I think the cooking should be a little improved; I had Spätzles (which I love), but I had eaten much better on some other places; second time I had a Wiener Schnitzel that was a bit too much full of frying oil and had little to do with a Wiener! But it was OK, and the price wasn't to high as one would expect at an hotel restaurant.
