And so, of course, I stumbled over the transformation in the company name of this Vietnamese restaurant. So Saigon instead of Vietnam. But make sense when you know that the owner Pham Vo comes from the south and also corresponds to the culinary focus of the local cuisine, i.e. the Saigon cuisine. The small hose-like shop in the Bermuda triangle in Freiburg lives a bit from the typical Saigon street kitchen. The clear menu offers street food: Vietnamese baguette, rice pancakes and summer rolls as well as a few soups. All this is freshly prepared for order and can be taken or consumed locally. In the back room there is a Vietnamese TV station, service is not at the small tables. The neighboring students of the faculties of spiritual science do not do this, no service is known for the pleasure of Mensa. But the street food from Saigon can compete with the bad pasta or salad buffet. Fresh ingredients, well-sized portions and authentic spice sauces at acceptable prices give the reason to place the tablettromantics of the Mensa here. In addition, there are generous opening hours that also appear suitable for visitors to the new 24/7 library.
It was the best Pho my husband tasted outside Vietnam. The presentation was also very well prepared for a start. We recommend this restaurant.
Food Good Morning Saigon serves fresh and tasty. I expected a little more spiciness, but still I was happy. Friendly service and affordable prices. Recommended.
They serve tasty Vietnamese food. The price is quite cheap comparing to the portion we get. The restaurant looks fine but it could have been better if they make it a bit brighter.
Surprised to find Vietnamese food in Freiburg. Had the fresh spring rolls and dry noodles with pork. I must say that their quality of the meal is quite good value.
