Oberkirch - Freiburg im Breisgau

Oberkirch is not hip; it's been a while! But sitting outside the cathedral, drinking a glass of local wine, and asparagus it is more than okay.

With the building being almost historical and the decor matching it, the evening felt very traditionally German, as was the food. Chose this restaurant primarily because of their extensive menu and a strong desire to eat Rinderrouladen beef rolled around some vegetables) as most...restaurants stopped offering this dish which is time intensive to prepare. It was delicious as was the Reh medallion and the vegetarian dish with curry that the others ordered. The wine list was pretty impressive, and both the bottle of Weiß Graubunder and the Rose Weissherbst) by the Glass that we ordered were excellent. The Service was sufficient. Am so pleased to have a go to restaurant for Rinderrouladen.

Nice tipical german restaurant, bit expensive. A rude behaviour from one of the waitress ruined the experience. A pity!

We stayed in the hotel (see separate review) and had an outstanding dinner here with six of us. Also hung out there a couple nights with American and German friends. Highly recommended!

Muy buena opción frente a la Catedral de Friburgo. Sus platos muy buenos. La atención ha sido muy correcta. Su terraza sobre la Catedral es muy bonita, sobre todo a la tarde. Sus precios normales para el lugar.
