Mateo's - Freehold

Every single time I am visiting the in laws in Freehold I suggest food from Mateo's. Their pizzas are delicious, their upside is beyond legit, and their vodka sauce is outstanding. My wife and mother in law love their arugula avocado salad (wife adds grilled chicken and mother in law adds salmon). Their pepperoni garlic knots, and regular knots, are usually on point and their Buffalo chicken panini is great as well. To top it all off, the employees are always so pleasant and the vibe inside is always great. If you are gonna eat in, it is byo so go and enjoy!

Great food and great service! The waitress was super friendly and made an awesome food recommendation. It's definitely worth a visit.

Went with friends to try out Mateos. First thing I look at is the appearance. Most importantly is it clean? Mateos was spotless. I was impressed with the staff. Friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. 6 different dishes at our table. Did I mention that the portions were large. Took home half for lunch the following day. Deserts? No idea because we were stuffed from the meal. This is a must visit eatery in Freehold Boro. NTW- been back several times. Still very impressed

The best catered big sandwiches breaded chicken and Italian sub are delicious. Pizza is great too. In my opinion, it’s the best in the area! We cater from them frequently and everyone always asks where the food is from because it’s DELICIOUS!

They provide a great service and their meals are excellent... my favorite pizza is the upside down, the best I've ever had.... 5 stars!
