Lobster House - Freehold

The food at this restaurant is amazing, with a wide selection of items on the menu. The service was not great, but the food made up for it. This was my second visit and I ordered the lobster again, which was not as good as the first time - a bit chewy, but still tasty.

This was our first time here. The place is low key. Nice atmosphere..its BYOB like most places in Jersey we started with a lobster bisque and a crab soup..both excellent. The crab soup was rich and flavorful..my wife had the stuffed shrimp which she enjoyed. I had the lobster risotto..which was FANTASTIC..we will definitely be going back.

I've come here a few times for the lunchtime lobster special, and it's great food at a great value. My friend usually gets several extras, such as the shrimp cocktail, and I love their lobster bisque soup. Their desserts are to die for. It's very informal and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent Mother's Day lunch. The service was fantastic and the food was even better. The portions were very generous - most of us ended up taking some home. Our group of 8 was able to bring our own wine, adding to the enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Last night, my husband and I had a fantastic dinner and overall experience at the Lobster House. We were promptly seated at our requested outside table, as we had made a reservation on OpenTable. The atmosphere was very relaxed, with perfect oldies music playing in the background. The service was quick and our waitress was extremely friendly. The food, including dessert, was delicious and reasonably priced for seafood. Bringing our own wine was a big bonus. This was our first time dining at the restaurant, but we will definitely be returning.
