Bidrage med feedbackWe went on a weekday during the first week of January. I like to try new wineries during slow times. Really enjoyed the wine and the gentleman who did the tastings. He was knowledgable about both the wine and the area, and was also extremely friendly. The only negative I note is that both the owners walked through the tasting room while we were there (We recognized them from their photos, , and neither stopped to talk to any of the guests (6 total . We visited the winery because we heard them on Shelley Wilfong's podcast, and the fact that she'd studied under Dan Gatlin impressed me. They seemed really personable and interesting. We're members at a number of wineries, and our relationships with the owners and staff are the difference between the memberships we cycle through and the ones we maintain. At our top 2 or 3, the owners are the ones that convinced us to join because we liked them so much.Again, minor point. We loved the wine (and bought some , and thoroughly enjoyed the tasting experience provided by staff.
Laura and Paul were such great hosts. Knowledgeable and so informative. Amazing wines! Ended up taking home 2017Kanchi with is incredible. Amazing, fun and such great folks. Thank you Laura and Paul.
Laura Paul did such an amazing job articulating all of their amazing wines! Great wines I ended up getting the Kanchi 2017…so delicious!!! Highly recommend stopping for a wine tasting visit. Ask for them!!!
Amazing wines and even more amazing people. The day we were there they were doing a wine and chocolate pairing. All were great alone and better together. We joined the club and walked out with wine and chocolate that day. Enjoying some of both now. Paul was amazing as well. Keep that lawn watered brother! I will.
I have given this review 3 stars . Not because the wine wasn’t good , it’s not because of the amazing young man named Louis who served us . He was not only nice he was very knowledgeable about the wine and answered all of our questions. The property was also very nice . All of those previously mentioned categories deserve 5 stars. My concern was the older lady who also was working on Dec 31 at 11 am when we arrived . There were only 4 other people in the tasting room when we arrived. Louis greeted us very nicely and we were asked if we had a reservation and we did not . We understood we were a party of 10 we would not have expected to be given anything special . We would have been fine with bottle service alone. However the lady quickly told us and not in a friendly tone)since we were a party of 10 we would have to pay on one ticket and would be charged an automatic 20 gratuity charge . We were not very happy with her tone or her rude attitude . We were going to leave and just go to another winery . Louis stepped in and took care of us . At the end of our visit each couple probably payed $100. +But to add to our encounter with this particular worker . One of our party asked if a military discount was offered He is a retired Marine) and she said we only offer a discount for active military personnel. With a finger gestures as quotation “”.Is this your policy ? If so I think it needs to said to the public so they can make the decision to patronize. Your winery or not.I am sorry to go on about this but as a business owner . I think it is important that you know what goes on in your winery. We will not be returning . With the quality of your wine . We may have considered being part of your wine club. However to have to deal with the likes of her .. no way!Thank you,Kelly C
