Silver Diner - Frederick

I was in Fredrick, MD for a submarine reunion and some of us were in search of some place to eat. The Silver Diner was close to our hotel so we decided to try it. Well, let me tell you that this place is fantastic! It’s like a old timey diner on steroids! Everything was fresh and cooked to order. They have a more upscale and sophisticated menu than traditional diners. They even have great crabcakes! Of course, in Maryland they had better! The salads have mixed greens instead of just lame iceberg lettuce. The soups are made in house and delicious! We all enjoyed everything we ordered. I really liked the Chicken Picatta.

I hadn't visited this diner in a long time but whoever decided to revamp the menu to make it flexatarian, and bring in the new head chef, deserves every accolade available. I haven't had one bad dish yet at this diner. The shakshuka pictured was so tasty. The beyond meat breakfast tacos were delicious as well. Consider visiting this diner if you're ever in Frederick MD

We stop in at this restaurant every summer on our way home from the beach. Everything we had was so good! Wish I had this diner where I live.

Mr. Keith today was an amazing server and did an awesome job. Really happy with the service and hope to have him as my server again!

Service was good. Marco was our server and he was very kind and checked in frequently. Our food was very good glad to see tuna melts back on the menu!
