Bidrage med feedbackThe Vinoteca San Marco is a really great enoteca with a good quality of food. Ideal for lunch break. The buffet is rich and good, and they have a really good meat. The choice of wines is of course great and they also have some local outstanding cesanese wine. The owner is kind, entertaining and always keeps a look at your table to see if you need something. Molto Bene!
Ate here twice as only 5mins from our hotel good gluten free offerings, good pricing and very convenient. Moderately busy on the two evenings we visited. Mid range food on offer, specialising in Pizza and Pasta. Solid 4/5
Stated with red and white wine and a variety of bruschetta. Flat bread was delicious. The first pasta dish was a style of pasta I had not seen before, kinda reminded me of cigar bands. The sauce on it outstanding. Next pasta was ravioli in a red sauce. Staff and service were excellent. Nice dinner.
I visited this restaurant twice while in Rome. On the first occasion I had the shown calzone and beer. The calzone was enormous and excellent with a crispy base, though the service was a little slow on that evening. But as I was in no rush I was happy to visit again. On the second occasion the service was fast, efficient and friendly though the pizza was slightly disappointing as the base was a little soft. Though I would certainly recommend a visit.
Our party of 4 each chose a different variety of pizza, and every one was delicious. The prices were moderate, and the menu offered everything from pizza, to pasta, to steak. Service was great and well done. There were 2 down sides for us: bread is brought to every table, but we then received a mandatory cover charge for the bread on our bill; and they require that the service tip be paid in cash, not added to a credit card payment. If we were going to be in Rome longer, we would definitely return to San Marco for another meal.
