Cantina Il Pergolato - FRASCATI

We came here for lunch with a large Scandinavian tour group. The place was attractive, the famous suction pig (a slice, cold was good. The famous Frascati white wine, served in constantly refilled pitchers, was good, but compared to a glass of Frascati in another...Restaurant later seemed somewhat weak (watered? Gasp! The highlight of the meal was a young woman (trained in several countries, most of which are performing opera arias, with a beautiful voice. If I had a choice between listening to the singer or eating and wine, I would choose listening. I cannot comment at the price, as this visit was part of a group package.

Day trip to Frascati with friends was very good (despite very wet weather) and was finished to dinner in Cantina Il Pergolato. 3-course dinner with pasta starter dish, main meat course and beautiful dessert plus wine was great. Well presented and...served by friendly staff.

We were here twice, two nights in a row and enjoyed both times. The veranda is to die, the other meat cheese and vegetables are all delicious and some in our party enjoyed pizza tonight for a change. Where else you can enjoy a meal of exceptional freshness for such a small amount. Great value.

It's a nice non-pretentious place for some typical local food. The food is good and the portions are big, the price is good. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. It's a good place to go to when you're not feeling like eating out with friends,...but you're not feeling like dressing up.

Mixed appetizer with addition of mozzarella and pork, carbonara and ravioli. all in the average, I expected more like a variety of appetizers and carbonara did not like because for my geese it was too dry
