We always come for the pot roast or some beef. To our surprise the beef tips were tough to eat. I only took two or three bits when I told our server Doreen. She later brough out a small cup of the beef tips and they were tough as well. We told her this is the first time we had incounter this tough meet of all the times we have ate there. She said they could have been frozen, and that would of made them tough. I told her the beef is the only reason I come here. She seem like she could care less if they were tough on people who also have dentures. WE have always reved about the Boiler Room. I guess we need not to come on beef tip.
Waitress never said help yourself to salad bar , did not get tea/water refill, did not see if we needed anything, she brought appetizer after our meal..cute girl...but absolutely no waitress
I really enjoyed my lunch at The Boiler Room. We happened upon it while taking my daughter to The Factory (also a great spot). We were about to eat at the pizza place, but decided to check the menu here first. The selection and prices looked good, so we gave it a shot. The service was very fast, and our waitress was excellent. My wife and mother got the potato bar, plus some sides, I got the French Dip, and I don 't remember what my daughter got. Everyone was satisfied. No easy feat! I 'm always on the lookout for good French Dips, and, believe me, most are not worthy of the name. However, my French Dip at the Boiler Room was one of the better ones I 've ever had. I plan to eat here again next time I 'm in Franklin.
Service was kind of slow, but staff was nice and food was great. Salad bar was very good.
Beef tomato soup was filled with grease, filled up a third of a coup just with the grease from the soup. Chicken was really dry. Great service though.
