Sunset - Franklin

Our family visited here twice! it is friendly, comfortable and reliable, prepared in simple wise. I had the cold plate and loved everything, including the tasty cole Slav! based on the number of people there every time we go, it is the place in franklin!

One of the best local restaurants! Food is always top notch, Southern home-style cooking, and the crew is always friendly and welcoming. 10/10 will always recommend- and definitely try their hush puppies (I love dipping mine in ranch)

The Sunset is good solid comfort food and is well-priced. Breakfast is the typical fare of bacon and eggs, pancakes, grits and homemade biscuits. Lunch is good for a bowl of hearty soup and a hefty deli sandwich. The restaurant is spotless and cheerful with a wait staff that is very pleasant and accommodating. Some solid choices are offered but they would not be my first choice. The patrons are regulars; most come by to eat a heart dinner of meat, vegetables, biscuits and gravy and a nice slice of home made pie for dessert.

Sunset is a staple of this community. It’s our favorite stop for breakfast, as well as for a Saturday afternoon lunch burger. Friendly folks and low prices. If you’re trying it for the first time, you have to try a slice of pie. They’re famous for the beautiful mountainous meringue on top. One of our favorite spots.

Was seated by a hostess 2 other people walking around. The place was completely empty she said our server will be right with you 10 minutes later we just walked out I guess good service is not a part of their mission statement
