Great Pizza, cooked to perfection, on time. You cant ask for more than that!
Tonight, I placed an order for a pizza using the Pizza Hut app. I did not know the closing time of the Franklin Pizza Hut on Columbia Avenue. As it turns out, I placed the order a few minutes before they closed at 8 PM. When I placed my order, the app gave me a verification that my order was being made and the delivery would be in about 30 minutes. After an hour and a half of waiting I called the Pizza Hut location. Amber, the manager, answered the phone. After explaining that my pizza had not arrived, she couldn 't have cared less about my order or me as a customer. She did not acknowledge that my order was late nor offer an apology. She went on to explain that she was not responsible for the fact that orders placed a few minutes before closing are not able to be delivered because the drivers clock out right at closing time. Amber also said that it was not her responsibility that the app took my order even though it would not be delivered because the app was administered by a company outside of Pizza Hut. Somehow, in her mind, that relieved her and Pizza Hut from responsibility. I told Amber that she should take ownership of this problem, apologize for it, and try to do something to correct this problem in the future for me and other Pizza Hut customers. In response, she told me that she was not interested in doing that because being a manager at a Pizza Hut store was not her dream job. I told her that if she really wanted to land the dream job someday, it wouldn 't happen by magic. That each step of the way in her career she would have to perform each job like it WAS her dream job. That way she would succeed, Obtain a reputation for responsibility and could then use that as a steppingstone that would eventually lead her to her dream job. She then accused me of being condescending and said how dare I give her career advice. Note that I never used any foul language nor was I mean or condescending. With the attitude Amber had, I doubt she 'll ever go beyond being a manager at a Pizza Hut. Truly sad. I feel for Amber. As for Pizza Hut as a corporation, this technology problem needs to be fixed. Or perhaps it is only my local Pizza Hut that is falling short. I don 't know. But the bottom line is that the impression customers get from this type of service damages the reputation of Pizza Hut a large and my local Pizza Hut store because Amber is the manager there.
Pizza hot and fresh...but no delivery driver had to carry out..they still owe me 5$ for delivery...but okay experience for free garlic butter
Don't waste your money, pizza is horrible you could get better from frozen pizza.
