Culaccino Italian Restaurant Bar

This was our second trip. We went when they first opened and was not that impressed but it must have been opening adjustments. This time food was great. I had the veal and others at the table had pasta. Only complaint was the loudness and cold inside.

I'll start by saying the food is good. Everything we ordered was well seasoned, well portioned and enjoyable. Everything leaves much to be desired. First and foremost this place is LOUD. They have packed as many tables as possible into this space and it's all hard surfaces so it only makes the issue worse. The tables are so close and the acoustics so bad that you can't help but be an uninvited party to the conversations around you. It really put a damper on our dinner as it was nearly impossible to have a conversation at a normal volume or with any reasonable privacy. Service I'd give service a 3 out of 5. Our servers Morgan and Cookie were either overworked or had no interest in engaging. It's not that they were rude but they clearly had no time/interest in any conversation aside from taking our order. Cost $270 for dinner for 4 (one app, 4 entrees, 2 drinks) comes out to about $68 per person which doesn't equate to me given my above points. Again, good food but I can't imagine going back.

Great food and excellent service. A bit pricey, but very enjoyable. They're creative with their pastas while not straying too far from traditional Italian flavors.

Had a wonderful time sitting outside on their patio. As a fellow pizzaiolo, I was completely impressed by how they perfectly cook their pizza and how beautifully fermented the dough was! Excellent! Our server, Ajay, not only was incredibly friendly, but also made some great suggestions. We had a great time sitting in his section. The pasta is made daily and we could tell that a lot of passion goes into the quality of their food. Great job to the chef and the staff!
