Römer Pils Brunnen - Frankfurt am Main

Excellent dinner and environment. We had read that reservations were recommended and they certainly are; this is a small and busy restaurant. We went at 7pm on a Friday night and lucked out with two seats at the bar after a short wait. We both ordered the jagerschnitzel and in retrospect I wish one of us had ordered the pork knuckle as well as it looked amazing. The schnitzel and beers were very good. We left full and happy.

Excellent local cuisine, definitely one of the best Schweinhaxens I've ever had, service was friendly and quick, highly recommend making a reservation, very busy and popular place.

German food done right! Fresh and delicious, their schnitzel with mushroom sauce is the best I've had. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are very friendly. A perfect place in old Town Frankfurt.

Good bourgeois cuisine with super quality and good portions at reasonable prices....
