Quattro - Frankfurt am Main

A jewel is hidden in a side street of the Zeil side street. The interior elegant, the staff friendly and fast, these were already good boundary conditions. It's not a miracle that shot our expectations up on arrival. When we entered the restaurant at about 2 p.m., the Quattro offers warm kitchen throughout, it was relatively empty, but it soon filled. And above all with Italian customers, which is always a good sign. We ordered pasta and risotto, both of which had the name of the house and thus represent what the kitchen can afford. Spaghetti QUATTRO We were not disappointed. The black octopus delicacies, the risotto all along with the right bite, in both dishes the seafood fresh and tender and all so lovingly presented that we almost regret ruining the arrangement with the fork. But beauty is awkward, especially when you can eat it... Risotto QUATTRO The olive oil that stood incognito on the table was fresh, fruity and a little scratchy, so exactly as it should be. The good lemon sorbet would have been more refined with a Schüsschen Prosecco or even stronger, the double espresso was so highly concentrated that a single one would have been almost enough. All the jewels are mean they're not cheap. But the €60 T that cost us the whole thing was worth it at the end.

Extraordinarily hospitable, typical Italian cuisine, very good wine selection from the related wine shop around the corner and a perfect, covered outdoor terrace that is also used by Innumwinter and guarantees a wonderful stay for smokers as non-smokers!
