La Luna Cafe - Frankfurt am Main

Amazing food and staff. Amazing coffee and cappuccino and I am italian so very demanding about my coffee : . High standards customer service and food. Dominika always goes above and beyond with her customer service. Very friendly and comfortable environment. Highly recommended.

We were new to Frankfurt and visited Skyline, saw LaLuna and my boys wanted ice-cream. Before they ordered they asked to taste a flavour and the darker skinned Gentleman obliged but only allowed a taste of one flavour (how do you decide if you didn’t like the flavour you tasted

After our several visitis (LaLuna is inside the Shopping Centre Skyline Plaza in Frankfurt) we gave up. If you decide to take a seat you can wait up to 20 min even if there are no other visitors. The staff are busy chatting, they don't mind and ignore the visitors so you sit there and wait like an idiot. The orders are taken with a kind of feel of restraint. Then you wait another 20 minutes for your order to come, of course not complete everytime we were there they forgot a part of the order. There were also things on the menu that were never there if we wanted to order them especially the waffles, for some reason the staff doesn't like to make them. Once we also got waned strawberry in a stadium in which they were not edible anymore. All of these experience summed up over a time and then we decided to never enter the place again. All you get served here is a bad attitude.

The place is in the Skyline Plaza shopping center and offers a variety of gelato and cakes. You can sit nicely by the window and have a look towards the newer part of Frankfurt. Service is slow but friendly. If you need some gelato during winter, this is definitely a good place to go.

Right on the first floor of the skyline building, this place is great to have a cup of coffee or ice cream. You can have view to the city if you sit by the window
