The Shores Of Fox Lake Steakhouse

Our first trip to the Shores of Fox Lake did not disappoint. We struck up conversation at the bar while waiting that continued into the dining area. The food was amazing, reasonably priced and the staff was attentive and very pleasant. We will be return customers.

This Monday 7/31 we’ve decided to celebrate a birthday dinner at the Shores. My experience there exceeded expectations. This restaurant left the best impressions from the minute we walked in with our hospitable host, Nina! With open welcoming with a smile on her face, even from what looked like a very busy night. We were greeted right away and assured to be seated soon, SO friendly! Food was great and a very professional staff! Recommend the Monday shrimp!

Stopped here with our friends for supper. The bar was nice with a great view of the lake. Service was friendly and attentive for how busy it was. Our table had steak, prime, and fish. Everything was pretty good. I had a lot of fat on my prime, just a bit more than usual but that did not stop me from enjoying it. After dinner drinks were good. This in more steak joint than supper club but worth a stop!

Absolutely wonderful place to stop and eat whether you live here or are just passing through, right off the highway and just a wonderful lake view on both sides of the location. Servers were wonderful, warm welcoming, and overall just give great service. Will definitely come back.

The staff was friendly and attentive to us. We got there right when they opened and were seated right away. I got the duck and my boyfriend had the prime rib special. We both enjoyed our meals and our whole experience with The Shores. We will be back to try the fish fry.
