The Recess Room - Fountain Valley

Very hit or miss with service when you sit at the bar the drinks are fantastic and handmade, the bottom is going to get one of 2 ways you get an alert that is completely aware and reviewed with you repeated, or you will receive a alert that is simply totally distracted and/or aloof as hell, and you will be ignored or overlooked repeatedly during your meal or bar experience. The food is pretty good and they do some things in/out quarterly (at least the 's my take) but it is also subject to who in the kitchen this night together with the service/servers. You just keep going with a nice selection of Asian/Fusion offers, and not too many as you see in other restaurants The atmosphere is usually somehow loud with typical bare white noise, but the lower level lighting in the evenings keeps it effortless. If you are lucky with bartender food service, you should have a pleasant evening with a great meal and wine great drinks. ?

Food and drinks were very good. We were happy to eat here. The waiter was super attentive and nice. This has become one of our favorite places.

Great experience! I accidentally searched it out of nothing because it was kind of hard for you to make a reservation on Father's Day, and this restaurant was just passed on from my eyes to the street and I chose it and somehow surprised cause of easy to reserve for the day and end, it had a good one. Food was especially the Wayugu Burger and the service is out of expectations. The waitress was so nice... she definitely deserved a long applause!

A little expensive for what it is, but the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Only 5 entries to choose from, but all 5 of these entrees were fantastic (my party ordered one each) and original. Dessert was a cereal milk cream broth and it was great. Once again, for sitting on a bar stool pay $100 for a drink and a steak did not meet the ambience of the price-day, but the staff was nice and food was excellent.

The drinks food were delicious! There was whiskey tasting so we got that free buzz boost. I would've gave a 4 star rating for our party receiving our dinners late--mine was last--BUT they comped some drinks and hooked it up for our birthday girl (woman! with a dessert tray so that made it worth it.
