Bidrage med feedbackThere were rumors that this restaurant might close due to renovations in the shopping center, which made me sad. However, it seems that there has been a reprieve. One of my favorite dishes growing up in San Francisco's Chinatown is the Yee Foo Wonton, and very few places still serve it. Lotus not only serves it, but they do so with delicious flavor every time. I would return just for that dish alone, but there's more to love. They also offer a variety of traditional, home-style dishes like the Hom Tee Gee Yuk Patties (steamed ground pork patty with boned salted fish), Stir-Fried Pickled Mustard Greens with Squid, and Steamed Scrambled Eggs with dried shrimp and seafood. Their Cantonese cuisine is authentic and delicious, without any pretense. I hope they stay open for a long time.
