Taxman Fortville

The food was over-done. Chicken for the chicken and waffles was over-cooked and dry. All the fries were over-done. Way past crispy. The only thing that was fully eaten was the app with the Bavarian pretzels. When your guests each have over half their food left and no one wants a box, that may be a good sign that it wasn't a great meal.

A HUGE disappointment. This used to be a great place to dine and the last 3 visits out of dozens have convinced me that something is a miss and it’s not getting better. Chaos, way overpriced food, and grumpy hostesses. I was sure someone was punking us today it was so bad.

We came in for Mother's day and had the absolute worst service possible. Our server barely checked on us, and food took over 45 minutes to arrive. We ordered our toddlers food right away so she could start eating and it never came. Our food was served and our child's food was not brought out. When it finally did, there was no explanation or apologies,, and no effort put in to see if we were happy or not. Food was good but horrible horrible service.

Very disappointing experience for Mother's Day brunch. Food was barely warm, had clearly been sitting, and we did not get all our meals after consistently being told it would only be a few minutes. We finally left after 2 hours without ever receiving one of our meals.

We have visited Taxman Fortville several and had a great experience; however, this time was very disappointing. Several food and beer options listed on the menu had run out. On a Saturday afternoon of a busy weekend, it is surprising to experience that amount of out of stock items. We will likely return again; it is just disappointing.
