Humboldt Spice Co. - Fortuna

Mostly everything tasted okay except for the flour tortillas! I am sure they were homemade but they came out extremely hot burning your fingers hot! They also seemed to have too much lard and were kind of gross! Especially after they cooled off, they got really thick and you could taste the lard and/or flour in them. Everyone in my family had the same experience really thick and gross tasting tortillas (the corn ones weren't much better)! The chips and salsa were good though!

The food here is amazing but it will take forever for you to get your food. Plan to spend a few hours for dinner or even lunch for that mater. If you have time to kill the food is worth it.

Small place big taste. The servers are very fast paced also always checks up on our table to see if we need anything. Every time my family I go out for dinner at la costa it’s always a enjoyable time and the food is amazing and fresh and hot once served. Never a disappointment. The owners are very kind and caring people as well.
