Bidrage med feedbackThe duck was good, but too expensive. $65 for a petite fillet with two scallops. This is literally more than you would pay at Gallagher's in Manhattan...but you're in a strip ball in Indiana next to a hot yoga studio and a Jimmy Johns. We had the salad bar and the options were not marked. It was too dark to say what some things were. There was a bowl with a big spoon in it, I thought it was potato salad. I finally had to ask the server what he was and she said it had to be the cheese ball. How should I know that the glop is a cheese ball in a bowl with a big spoon? The women's bath smells like Stale Urin. The whole place needs cleaning and there is a unisex/family bath with a sophisticated order mark.
Fantastic food and a huge salad bar. They were not very busy, but it took a long time to bring my 2 friends drinks. I had Top Sirloin and it was great. The broccoli with him was not very good. Some were very green and crisp. Others were brown and fell apart and muddy. Friends all had fillet and loved her. The potatoes were also very good. But that is very expensive. Two friends had 2 drinks each. 3 of us had soup and 3 of us got salad bar. I and other friends got every pop. Bill was 288.
The first impression was a thick zero. When we were about 3 minutes away. You said there was no waiting time. We're going in, there's three hostesses around the booth. No one looks up after two minutes. They were too worried about who a lady sat on table 51, because a 6 top should go there. Then they finally confirm that the galley with shoulder length of dark hair asked if we have reservations. I say no, then she says it'll wait at least a 1/2 hour. The place is not busy (I understand that staff could be a problem). I then said I called less than 3 minutes ago and they said there was no waiting time. This hostess looks up and says good! I wish people would tell me if they answered the phone. Then she goes annoyingly to the other two to put us. That was so unpleasant and unprofessional and something we would not have witnessed as customers. The waitress was nice, though she didn't give us the specials, as we heard others were receiving. Even no bread, although not a big thing, is still beautiful, but was not offered. My husband had Ribeye and was very happy. I had the scallops and they were like that. I'm gonna say the Risotto was badly understated. Hard and chewy. We were happy to come here for business through the week, but this experience tonight, especially with the hostess, was just a wow.
Our server was excellent. The drinks were very good. That was the end of the good experience. We used to eat at TS
My husband and I were here last sunday. We came in for brunch after seeing that they had one in a FB group we are in. We were pleasantly surprised. You think this is just going to wind up being a typical bar. I mean it is a bar however, it is very family friendly. The day we came in, we both ordered the brunch buffet and salad bar. On the brunch buffet were several items. A french toast callerole thing (which is excellent) eggs, bacon , sausage, hashbrown casserole, waffels, fresh fruit, walleye, prime rib, macaroni and cheese, yogert and a salad bar that made ME want to eat salad (if the good lord wanted me to eat salad he would have put long floppy ears and a big fluffy tail on my behind), anyways. They also had a **** mary bar. They served alcohol in a glass and gave you a separate glass with ice, and you could take as many trips to the bar to make your own **** mary as long as you alcohol didn't run out.We have been looking for a nice place to eat brunch. We may have found a new favorite!
