Paula's on Main - Fort Wayne

I've had great service and food everytime I have been there.

I have ate at Paula's three times and actually i proposed to my wife there. I planned out the romantic surprise proposal plan and the staff at Paula's helped me to carry it out. It might be somewhat noisy from time to time but the food is excellent, the staff is wonderfully pleasant. I would recommend the almond crusted walleye. Everything is good. Well worth the visit and the cost.

This was quite an experience never thought I would find this good of seafood so far away from the coast! Not only is it fresh (they even have a fresh seafood market inside but they KNOW how to prepare cook it! The crab cakes were billowing over with crab meat....the scallops cooked to perfection (never knew they could melt in your mouth! , the almond walleye with the jalapeno tartar oh my! My friend had the grilled seafood salad with grilled shrimp scallops with fresh fruit, goat cheese, mixed greens, and a citrus dressing! We had our server laughing because we sounded like a sense from the movie What about Bob when he is eating and loving his food!!! We were in heaven! The server was wonderful went above an beyond to ensure we were having a wonderful meal! btw loved my Flirtini martini...and my friend had a glass of the Hahn wine (I believe it was a meritage ....oh...and not that I should be surprised...but they also make their own amazing bread, butter, and all their desserts! The peanut butter/chocolate pie and carrot cake that we shared off the charts!!! I hear their desserts are so popular that you can buy them by the pie/cake (I just may have to do that for the holidays! So...bottom line is...Paula 's on Main is one of the best Seafood restaurants I have ever eaten at (and we vacation yearly on the East Coast! !!!! I can 't wait to visit them again!

Why we won't be back any time soon. Seated 7 people at a table for 6 with the promise to be moved. Never happened. Waitress was no where to be found throughout the dinner. 20 min till beverage served additional 45 min till food was on the table. Two people billed with the 18% grat. It was so loud with the live entertainment we couldn’t have conversation! BAD NIGHT OUT!!!

Excellent atmosphere. Also I like to use my restaurant .com gift that I get off my travel site...Auctioned off gift cards as a fundraiser for my sorority here in Fort Wayne...Southwest of Fort Wayne... Wonderful Lemon drop martinis...try and make a margarita/martini.
