They definitely have the recipe for some of the best sauce I've had since the old Brooks BBQ!

So we tried the spot because my fiancé wanted good barbecue that reminded him of Chicago. The father and son duo were extremely nice and welcoming and offered us free samples of the food. We really really love the sides, We had dirty rice, mac cheese, collard greens, yams and beans. Now for the mains we had rib tips in mild sauce, they use a vinegary base which we were not biggest fans of but only because that's not how we are used to having them but it was nice to try something different. And I had the fish and chicken combo, I had perch as my choice of fish. It was my first time trying perch and I don't know if I liked it too much but I feel like it might've been over fried for my liking, it came with hot sauce which helped. It's worth giving a try for some Indiana BBQ, i'd be willing to come back and try some thing else!

Upon arriving it does look closed if your not familiar with the area which is why I missed it a couple times. When I drove up I happened to notice Mr Dunbar outside. He was very friendly and patient. I was able to sample some Meats and sauce before I purchased. I enjoyed the food the presentation was good. I ordered 4 meats with 2 sides at the drive up window. The food was well portioned and the sauce was good. At the time of the visit there was 2 desserts from The Sweet Spot (local Bakery absolutely delicious.I had lemon cake and birthday cake . I recommend if you have a taste for soulfood.
