Eighteen 36 Lounge - Fort Valley

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times now and tonight the food was unacceptable. I was told they have a new cook and that the presentation may be off, but food is still good. Which was not true at all. Maybe the cook need some lessons or they need to hire another one.

Chicken was Dry and tasteless … even though It had a bunch of seasonings on it. The pasta barely had any cheese to it even though it was suppose to be 3 cheese pasta … and the dish was SUPER GREASY … which my bread soaked up … just an off putting dish …

My husband and I checked it out for our 13th anniversary. I grew up here and other than China House, I don't remember there ever being a nice sit in restaurant here. The food is amazing. The service is amazing. It took it a little while to get out, but it's fresh, hot, very well done. Food filled with love takes a while and it shows! For those complaining about the restaurant being short-staffed and out of stuff, this pandemic is not gone and it's still impacting small businesses. It's still taking a while to get shipments in and guidelines for staff is still a thing. This place is going to be legendary here and hopefully it will inspire more entrepreneurs to set up shop downtown. I'm considering opening a gallery myself. So glad it's (still) here.
