Bombay Palace - Fort Shafter

I Usually don’t write reviews but the food was so bad I had to. We ordered take out Paneer makhani and Shahi paneer which included exact 3 and a half pieces of Paneer each. Paneer Makhani tasted like a Tomato soup from Costco and Shahi Paneer tasted like stale onion and tomato puree. Plus the rice is not included with your Entrees. If you are looking for Indian food this is not the place but there are few good ones on the island.

Exceptional food. All halal. Probably the only place on the whole island that serves halal food. The man who served us also owns the restaurant and he was very humble. I highly recommend trying the Malai Kofta and Butter Chicken. They serve the most unique flavored butter chicken we've ever tried. The place looks a bit simple but the food is just amazing. Don't go by the simplicity of the restaurant. Go by their taste. Will definitely be returning back when we visit Hawaii again in the future.
