That is used to be my kitchen table, but has changed hands twice in the last two years and is now eggcellent p’eats. I went to lunch with a friend, because downtown was too busy and was going to go. it used to be good...homemade eating on my kitchen table so thought it would be equal....Wrong! they did everything that was made to home, including French fries (now frozen spiced and coated and the clubhouse was crazy good (always fresh real truthahn) and hamburgerpatties were thick and juicy (now thin and dry and hard to say if its homemade restaurant is very forgot waffel is kucks for a waffel and two toppings. I had to look around to make sure I wasn't in a mountain resort in jasper where you expected these prices. but seriously? my hosing had that and was disappointed when the strawberry tips were the frozen art, and Whipping cream was of the conspicuous sort that it seemed. the waffel itself was a decent size, but not for cucks. it would have come with a side of speck or something to this price as they added their speck, it was an under average waffel with a few slices speck. either give them two waffels and make them feel the hospitable as if it were a huge part or reduce them the price. (cost of making waffels is quite low and everyone knows that) I wanted to have a clubhouse, but was said it was hay and only in a pack now. and so I went with a burger. Skinny...overdone and served with frozen french frits with a coating on it to give it a crisp texture. fail! coffee is good if they like weaker, coffee like coffee, but if they want to taste their coffee and hot (serves something warmer than hot). I'm in the regular a vain kind of hospitable, but if everything went downhill, I'm complaining. I asked the server that was young and not sure about quality and whether it was frozen or not. I was offered a cup suppening when I returned the french and it was quite daring blande. I'm sure the server thought we were much too picky, but we just wanted a decent meal to lunch. (a coffee and a tea included) restaurant gets points for clean and friendly. but why not do on their game and stay homemade like their neighboring restaurants? atlantic kitchen has a large menu, but the speciality is fish and chips and it is amazing and obviously homemade and also known for sherwood park people. the same for downtown diner and they are always busy. (atlantic kitchen has just opened a second place in st albert. nothing magic .just use fresh ingredients and let us know. they charge a premium price, so they give us a premium menu and their place is also dressed for lunch. here hopes.
We went to breakfast and woman had wad and I had ham / cheese omelett. the waffels were not fresh, blanching, no taste and tasted not homemade unless they were frozen before. the omelet was ok, but some of the carrots were not completely boiled and oily. the service we had was not good, and at one point we had to go to the counter to hot water for tee that was forgotten. the server gave us the water for us to take on our table. because of this experience we will not be back.
When I was a stranger about these parts, I was looking for the sign, not such a place as the kitchen table. but there is another place that is kitchen table. well, I found it now about eating. great! service great! do it well!
We stopped in for breakfast recently. Both our entrees arrived and the food was abundant and very well prepared, all at a very reasonable price. Their bacon is some of the best we have enjoyed! service was prompt, friendly and attentive throughout our meal, despite...the restaurant being very busy. Although we did not order from the lunch menu, all the illustrations looked very appetizing, and the prices were reasonable.
