Bidrage med feedbackThis was the first time for us to try Hanabi and we had heard many good things. We were not disappointed. I had a teenager to feed, so we made sure to order a good selection. The wait staff were attentive and patient while we made our decisions. The food was delicious and plentiful enough to fill the teenage hollow leg. Our favourite was the Vampire Roll. We would highly recommend, and will be back!
Awesome food! we go here all the time! it's our go-to spot for a date night.. not sure what the other reviews are complaining about.
They never ever have sushi rice, it's pathetic and their service is so slow. If I go there again that's a big if and they don't have sushi rice I will be putting a complaint in to the owner. This place should be shut down or get new staff. Pathetic pathetic pathetic.
Super disappointing meal tonight. This is the 2nd time I’ve tried this restaurant and the 2nd time I’ve been really disappointed. I thought I’d try it again because there are so many good reviews (which I don’t understand unless I caught it on another off day? The rolls didn’t taste fresh (like the 1st time I had them and I threw them out ..the bento box was the worst bento I’ve ever had.. best thing in it was the 1 strawberry cut in 1/2. We spent over $70 to throw the meal in the garbage for a 2nd time. I’m giving 2 stars because the miso soup was good and the little salads. I really hate writing negative reviews.. especially about a locally owned business ... but if you’re on the fence of ordering from here sadly I would say spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Ate here on Friday, Feb 28/20. We were greeted and seated promptly. Waitress took our order and brought our drinks. I ordered a glass of yellow tail shiraz, and the wine was flat, bottle had been opened for a while. I ordered California rolls, they were merely ok. Did not provide enough wasabi for the portions. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken and vegetables. The chicken was tough, a few pieces of chicken, not even a full chicken breast and tasteless and a very skimpy drizzle of teriyaki sauce. The vegetables consisted of two asparagus spears, two slivers of red pepper and some kind of bean sprouts that looked more like a garnish than a side of vegetables. The bowl of steamed rice was not fresh, very dry. Other than taking our order, delivering our food, the was nothing more of service to the dining experience. Would not recommend this place, very expensive for disappointing food and service. Truthfully you get a way better bang for your buck at EDO in the fort, and food is always fresh there.
