We were told at the guard gate that they did not accept non-residents and that we had to go. They turned us around and I called the restaurant's phone number and they called the guard gate to let us in. After boarding we were treated on a terrace and brought to our places as we used Open Table, we were not allowed in the main restaurant. As soon as our server came to our table, he asked about our account number and we didn't have any so that there were other problems. Food was moderate and service was good for my wife.
It says it's open to the public on their open table list. When we arrived, the gate visitor had no idea and didn't try to find out and didn't let us in possession. The organization should either change the information on the website or let the gate know what is on.
I don't know where the wires were crossed between Open Table and Heritage Palms. We were turned away from the guard at the gate because we are not members. We were told that the restaurant was not open to the public except for Sunday Brunch. Since it was Valentine's Day, I was disturbed by the likelihood that I came in nicely without reservations everywhere. I called the Country Club and spoke to the hostess who confirmed my reservation. She said they were new to Open Table and obviously the communication was wrong between the two parties. I asked for the manager and after a brief discussion she agreed to advise the guard to let us in. We were treated with a casual menu on a high table in the grill, as the dining room was used for a Valentine's Day dinner dance. While the sandwiches were good and our waitress was very nice hardly the Valentine dinner I had for my bride of 42 years when I made the reservation with Open Table.
Eating was very good, but the service was very slow and very deorganized. reopened, so needs a big tweaking.
