Fancy's Southern Cafe - Fort Myers

Normally we love this place, today we were extremely disappointed. We came at lunch time for a BLGT sandwich but because it’s the weekend they don’t serve lunch only “brunch”. The BLT is not on the brunch menu but they serve all the components of it. Asked if we could order it, cook said no. We took our business elsewhere.

Fancy’s Southern Café is one of the best country restaurants that I’ve been to in Florida. I lived in Virginia for over 17 years and learn to appreciate southern cooking. Even though I live over two hours away, there are times when I will take the trip to the Naples area just to get fancy’s. You have to try it.

We had a great time. The bartender (Amy) was awesome. Food was good. Music was fun. Great time all around.

Excellent Eats!! Came all the way from Denver Colorado to eat here, and they did not disappoint!! Florida Hot chicken sandwich. Meatloaf Sandwich. Chicken Salad Sandwich. Sweet potato souffle and Mac n Cheese!!

Great flavors. Waitress was on point and nice as could be.
