Austrian-german - Fort Myers

I'm from Germany and the food here is the closest to the tastes of home I have found. I go there for lunch often and love the schnitzel salad. I've tried other dishes and every single one has met or exceeded my expectations. Guten Appetit!

We called 45 minutes ahead and they took a reservation for 6 diners. We were seated upon arrival and had great food and great service. Steak tartar appetizer, HunterSnitzel, Hungarian Goulash were all tasty and in generous portions. Native German in group thought food was wonderful. Will definitely return and will highly recommend to friends and family.

Delicious! Started with delicious bread, perfect crust. We have both yaegerschnitzel, spaetzel and pan roasted potatoes. Yummy. Good size shares. The next day it went over again. Well, it was the end of our vacation or would have got weight in the city every night. I mentioned the engraving. Drooling.

Pork Schnitzel, 2 large pieces fried and seasoned for perfection. For dessert apple strudel with pepper cream. Let's not forget the meat-dumping soup, wonderful. Now a Chit chat... This food is like an oasis in an otherwise boring stripe ball. NO TV, real cloth napkins plus indoor and outdoor tables. The background music is German. This is a culinary experience... NOT simply dine and that...service is great. Many parking spaces. Every 2nd Saturday, the month throughout the year, dinner, they offer a German buffet. What I think costs $25 per person. So stop and give them a try.

With my wife and her mother and her brother who were visited from Germany. The mother is very special and an excellent cook, she loved the food and thought it was as good as her own cooking, high praise from her! Make sure you have a good appetite, the portions are huge. If a local German loves food, then you know that it is good and authentic. If you are visiting Ft. Meyers, do yourself a favor and try the food, you will not be disappointed.
