We-ko-pa Golf Club - Fort McDowell

Outdoor dining on nice days is great on the large patio. Kids joined us after golf, two days in a row. Great service, generous portions and relatively inexpensive for a resort. Will definitely go again, with or without, a golf round. Nice selection of beers.

Had a nice lunch here recently. The menu was varied. The food was good and the service exceeded our expectations. Prices are reasonable. Only downside to the menu is that there are no entrees. Fish and chips would be a nice addition to the menu (they already do great french fries) and perhaps some grilled salmon or even shrimp (think shrimp tacos). The only fish on the menu were the fish tacos and, while they are excellent, the fish is prepared in beer batter. it would be nice to see more seafood on the menu. A huge void here is the lack of a wine list. They only offer a house wine. To add insult to injury, there are sixteen (16) beers on the menu and a number of cocktails! It really wouldn't be that much of a stretch for them to offer more wines. I realize they are catering to the golf crowd and that means beers and burgers. Still, there are a few of us who come here who are not golfers and are looking for a slightly more sophisticated experience that would include a nice glass or even a nice bottle of wine. They could cap such a list at about two dozen wines. Well, something to think about We Ko PA??

I just ate the absolutely best Cuban I've ever had in my life !! So delish, so fresh!! Amazing. The onion rings were next level as well. Do yourself a favor and stop in!!

Second time here, and I cannot say that I am impressed. Pretty building! On the golf course. Nice looking interior. Food is blah. Service is blah. Both times around, I ordered bun-less burgers, and both times they were over cooked to the point of being hard. Salads were just greens thrown in there. Both times food took forever and server was apologetic. Certainly not the place to visit for food.
