Chock Full O' Nuts - Fort Lee

I was surprised to read the reviews. I must have had new workers help me. From the moment I walked in, I got the Hey hello, clever jokes and some fun facts. Then watching the love that the chef put into the omelet. Omelets are so worth it! Can't wait for their new addition!

First off.. I still start this by saying I wish I could give this place ZERO stars! My fiancé and I ordered the following which came late: Toasted Sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese Taylor Ham egg and cheese on a plain bagel Corn muffin What we got: Plain bagel with barely any PLAIN cream cheese. Not toasted Regular ham egg cheese sandwich. COLD Taylor ham in a plastic container separate Pumpkin muffin completely raw uncooked Upon calling the establishment to say my order was wrong, a person named Dora answered the phone and started arguing with me. Every time I spoke she would speak over me. I asked her not to argue with me and that I wasn 't being argumentative at all with her. She didn 't want anything to do with the call. I asked to speak with someone else. Another person named Matt answered the phone, and he was even worse. His response I have other tickets waiting. I 'll call you back in 10 minutes . With all due respect, I just was spoken to extremely poorly by another person who worked there, and I 'm having an issue with food that was just delivered. Regardless of the tickets sitting there, I 'm on the phone now and would like it resolved. The amount of poor customer service that I received within a call that lasted less than 5 minutes, is absolutely astonishing. I have no idea how they 're still in business, and I will never, ever go there nor recommend this place to anyone else. Save your money, and go somewhere else that you are valued and issues are corrected. Remember this, Chock Full of Nuts... a customer will return time and time again even if there are screw ups along the way. The only difference in retaining customers vs losing ones, is how you approach the problem and get a resolution.

I love me some good bagels and fresh coffee, and who doesn't like a place that will deliver that. The staff at this specific location is fantastic. They are personable, friendly, the facility is clean and had some of the best baked goods I have had. At first I was skeptical because its a part of a gas station and I'm not one for gas station coffee or food but I'm so glad I stopped in. An example of how nice the staff is.... My birthday was 2 weeks ago and the day of my birthday we had a delivery of bagels and coffee and a few muffins and such. We got it delivered for all the family and friends that were at my house. They came in set everything up on my island in the kitchen and even wrote on the box of bagels Happy Birthday and many blessings. It was so thoughtful of them.
