Morton's The Steakhouse Ft. Lauderdale

The Morton salad is absolutely amazing—it's a meal on its own. The crab cake, scallops, and filet were all cooked to perfection. The hot chocolate cake deserves its legendary status. We ended up taking the leftover desserts home because they were that good. I have just a couple of suggestions: first, it would be great to fluff the baked potatoes right when they come out of the oven, and second, please consider serving butter that isn't rock hard.

Fort Lauderdale is home to many steak houses, including Capitol, Rare, and Ruth's Chris. Among these, Morton's stands out as one of the finest. While all offer excellent steaks, Morton's also features other high-quality dishes, such as their delicious crab cakes. One of the biggest highlights of Morton's is their happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. at the bar, where you can enjoy a top-notch $5 bar bite menu—a fantastic deal. Dinner prices can be quite steep; while the food is exceptional, it definitely requires a significant investment. If you’re looking for a great aged steak at about half the price, consider trying J. Mark's on Federal.
