J. Alexander's - Plantation

We've been going to J. Alexander's since it opened in Plantation for lunch, dinner and just for drinks at the end of an evening before heading home. It consistently has served great food and enormous drinks making the value outstanding. The only problems, and it is a sign of the popularity of the place, is that when crowded it is very noisy and reservations are not accepted. Nothing can be done about the first problem except putting in more sound proofing. The second problem, well, you can call in ahead to get on the waiting list for a party of 4 or less. But what do you do if you would like to take more people? Probably a long wait if it is Friday or Saturday. So I wind up taking visitors to other restaurants. Other than that, it is the nicest restaurant in Plantation.

It is always a nice place to eat. The baby back ribs with cole slaw and beans is my favorite dish. Ask for a croissant drizzled with a little bit of sweet icing it is perfect.

My husband and I have visited J Alexander’s two or three times in the last year. The food is always Amazing, good drinks and service too. My favorite though is their Black Bean Soup, great!

Excellent server, but the value is not there. I was not impressed with the food. BUT we had their chocolate cake.... that was excellent costly but excellent.

Excellent restaurant always recommend it to my friends whenever I'm in Florida. I have to eat at a J Alexanders.
