Franco Vinny's Pizza Shack

Place was packed on a Sunday night! Bread, salad and duck were great! Very delicious! We had lasagna and gnocchi with meat sauce.

A fabulous restorer, from service to food, this place is great. We ordered the special for an appetizer who were the meatballs with the mozzarella and basil and it was good. Then we have the Lobster ravioli and the Auberginenparmesan. The Lobster Ravioli with the pink sauce was the best lobster Ravioli I've ever had. The pink sauce was fabulous and quite tasty and the raviolis themselves did not sneak on the Lobster. The Auberginenparmesan was also very good. We finished our meal with the Tiramisu and it was also great. A great restorer for something near the beach and a good night.

On Sunrise Road, about 10 minute walk from Bayshore Drive. Ordered a large pepperoni and meatball. Nice presentation, plenty of toppings. Pizza was good. Staff is friendly. You can eat at the bar or in the restaurant. Take out available.

I gave this restaurant a 3-star rating, not because of the food, which was very good and fresh, but due to the service. Our server seemed a bit disorganized, forgetting several items we ordered and taking a long time to bring our drinks and the check. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the service left a lot to be desired.

I have to admit my oversight; I've lived near Franco Vinny's Pizza Snack for the past three years and had never tried their pizza—until this weekend when I finally placed an online order and got a massive cheesecake. I ended up ordering again later in the week. The flavor was fantastic, the crust was perfectly crispy, and it had a unique taste that sets it apart from other pizzerias in Broward County. They've set a new standard. Don't miss out on this!
