Fish Peddler East - Fort Lauderdale

We recently moved east. I talked to a friend about how crazy it was to live so close to the sea and not able to find good fresh seafood, and he recommended that we try The Fish Peddler on Commercial. What a great recommendation! When I came in, I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The selection of seafood was amazing, and the fish I selected was so wonderfully fresh. No more grocery seafood for us! The price per pound could be a bit higher, but every penny worth it!

They have plenty and lots of fresh fish, but also prepared items and a large olive bar. The best I did not expect is that it is actually a small grocery store with vegetables and packaged items. I know now that it can be my only food stop when I buy fish. In addition, they prepare the catch of the day for you ready to take it home, ready to eat, and they also make party plates. The salmon I bought was really fresh and really delicious! I cooked it at home with one of the sauces I bought there. I will definitely buy seafood again.

A jewel of a place to South Florida . You have the freshest and most impressive selection of seafood. The staff is always so helpful, polite, simply enthusiastic to serve you. The best place to get stone crabs key lime cake!

Everything about this place is amazing! You had great recommendations! We ended up with Stone Crab, Pompano, tuna, lake bass, lobster bisque, crabs Mac and cheese, shrimps and they have just decorated oysters for us! We had two more stations to make after we were out there and packed our whole food in ice! We live in Utah, who is a locked state, and I could eat in this place every day! Great fresh fish! I got snapper, local, and stone crab with mustard sauce...so good!
