The issue of price versus taste was glaringly evident. The pretzel I ordered was disappointingly warmed up in a microwave, resulting in a soggy and lackluster texture. Adding to the dismay, a small yogurt cup came with a steep price tag of $10 USD. Even after considering the conversion to foreign exchange rates, the yogurt's lackluster taste made the expenditure feel unwarranted. While the convenience of the snack bar's location within the museum is commendable, the subpar quality of the food overshadowed the overall experience. Visitors are more likely to remember the negative impression left by unappetizing and overpriced options, rather than the enriching museum visit. My suggestion is clear: the Museum of Discovery should reconsider its approach. Either revisiting the pricing strategy to make it more reasonable, or elevating the quality of offerings – particularly the pretzels – would greatly enhance the overall experience for visitors. A positive dining experience can undoubtedly contribute to a more memorable and positive impression of the museum as a whole.
Haven't been here since it was a subway. Had to say it was a nice change. They had some good options from plump warm hotdogs nachos popcorn two cold sandwiches fruit and yogurt. They also have some Starbucks options! The staff was friendly I'm glad they had some thing for us to munch on while visiting
Trash service and smells when u walk in the door. horribe 5 workers standinng aaround talking. very displeased
The elements cafe is a relaxing environment in contrast to the lively, interactive nature of the museum's exhibits. Providing healthy and sustainable meal options for all ages, the cafe makes for a great end to a fun-filled day!
This is a hidden gem downtown!! It's inside the museum of discovery and science, but open to the public not just museum visitors. Delicious assortment of sandwiches, salads, desserts and other snacks. A lot of it organic. Fair prices too.
