The Plaice Restaurant & Bar - Fort Erie

I ordered the Philly Steak Sub at this restaurant that seemed more like a hot dog stand. The meat was greasy and soggy, making it difficult to eat. It seemed like they used low-quality steak and it lacked flavor. I also tried the sweet potato fries which were decent and came out hot. However, the sauce was missing. The Jalapeno Poppers had a tasty filling, but the outer coating seemed like it was of low quality, similar to something you might find at Walmart.

Great service, delicious food. My family and I stayed at Fort Erie's weekend and we went to dinner there. The first time there. We liked a lot. I ordered Fresh Lake Erie perch with garden salad and Ranch Dressing, my wife and... my daughter Swiss mushroom burgers, one with sweet potatoes and the other with French pommes. The portions were generous and the prices were fair. Due to the pandemic, the service was only in the courtyard. We'll go back when we get back to Fort Erie.

Not impressed. The wings, Poutine, and Mozzarella sticks were all disappointing. I would not recommend ordering the Mozzarella sticks again. The service from the waitress was also lacking.

We went to the plaice for fish last night and it was the best fish I had. We had squids and cash, and it was delicious. The service was great thanks to Shannon and Nicki.

I celebrated a birthday at this restaurant and had a delicious roast beef sandwich with a side salad. My friend opted for a beef sandwich with fries, which were also excellent. We also tried the chicken wings, which were tasty. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. It was a wonderful dining experience overall.
